Reporting on environmental impacts in the supply chain has become a crucial part of company strategies. To understand and manage those environmental impacts, companies require robust engagement systems with their suppliers, both to collect the data and to influence their suppliers actions.
This presentation covers:
Leading CDP's Supply Chain program in Europe, taking overall responsibility for the Supply Chain membership program's strategic objectives. Representing CDP's Supply Chain program externally, advocating the importance of supply chain engagement. Generating ideas how to develop the program further, within Europe but also globally-e.g. through new ways of analysing supplier data, meaningful ways to combine covered environmental areas (climate, water, forests), new partnership opportunities. Expanding the reach and impact of the program by developing tailored approaches for new user groups such as governments.
The Pop in Your Job:
I love engaging with companies and understanding how we can support them in setting and achieving their sustainability targets. By providing the necessary information to our members and to their suppliers and helping our members to understand and use the data, we make together a contribution to achieving our common climate objectives.
